Viji completed a Batchelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy at the Government College of Physiotherapy in South India, in 1998. She worked full time as a rotational physiotherapist in acute hospitals for four years and then as a lecturer in physiotherapy and a clinical instructor for the next three years.
She moved to the UK in 2006 and began work as a physiotherapy assistant at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in January 2014. She has extensive experience in stroke, neurorehabilitation and the neurological out-patient department, as well as elderly medicine, orthopaedics, neurosciences, surgery, acute medicine and oncology. She is an associate member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). She began working as an assistant for Cambridge Neuro-Physiotherapy in 2019.
She has now worked up her registration with the HCPC and is due to begin work as a transitional band 5 physiotherapist.
