Tess qualified in 2002 with BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from St George’s Medical School in London. She has extensive experience treating a wide range of neurological conditions, from acute management to long term rehabilitation. In 2012, Tess set up the physiotherapy service on the multi-trauma rehabilitation ward at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. Prior to this, she led the Neurosciences team at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. She also works as an expert witness for the Court. She has a particular interest in rehabilitation following head injury and spinal cord injury. Tess also specialises in using acupuncture to treat neurological patients and has been registered with the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) since 2005.
Tess is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and is registered with the HCPC.
