Jen qualified in 2002 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and began working for Cambridge Neuro-Physiotherapy in 2007. Her clinical experience of people with neurological conditions is varied and ranges from acute head injuries on the intensive care unit to working with people in their own homes, several years after injury. She can draw on her experience to provide high level assessment and treatment for those with sensory-motor difficulties. She has a special interest in stroke patients, learning disabilities, long term spinal injuries management and multiple sclerosis. She has completed courses in the Bobath approach, Movement Science and Vestibular Rehabilitation. She has a particular interest in orthotics, Pilates and long term management.
Jen currently leads the physiotherapy team on the Lewin Stroke and Neuro-Rehabilitation unit at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. This has given her a good understanding of acute rehabilitation, the hospital process and discharge, as well as providing her with good links to what is available in the community as part of the NHS.
Jen is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and is registered with the HCPC.
