After working many years at Addenbrooke’s Hospital as a Healthcare Assistant and Physiotherapy Assistant, I realised that becoming a physiotherapist was my calling! I achieved my Physiotherapy Masters degree in 2018 and returned to Addenbrooke’s where I rotated around all specialisms in the hospital. My interest in Neuro-Rehabilitation and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy led to more specialised roles out in the community and within clinic settings. I now work for an NHS Staff Wellbeing Team, supporting individuals with long term conditions, as well as treating those with musculoskeletal complaints. The enjoyment I get from the rehabilitation of people with a neurological condition or injury / surgical procedure drew me to work within the Cambridge Neuro-Physiotherapy team. I live in Ely so cover this area and into the north of Cambridge. When I’m not working in either of these roles, you’ll find me somewhere outdoors on a long walk with my dog, Moose!
